Far East Chinese Restaurant in Angels Camp

Great service and good food

My outdoor adventure group regularly has dinner at the Far East Restaurant. We enjoy the food and the ability to meet there. The staff is always friendly and fun to joke with. We've even had massages at the restaurant. A must visit business in Angels Camp.

Food and service is very good. Some dishes are a little too spicy that are not listed as spicy. Would definitely recommend and I lived near a Chinatown and had Chinese food at least 6 times a week

We like a lot hanging out. Last night we visited this delicious place which friends recommended to us. We had a lovely experience there with very good food and a professional crew and a great chef. We put this restaurant in our list and we will definitely go again very soon. Highly recommended.

It's great typical Chinese food that you would find. The food tasted fresh and cooked correctly. Friendly staff I only deducted one star because their service was inconsistent and the fact that one second they would never come around and take your order on time and then the next minute they were constantly topping off your water glass even after taking a sip. But overall a good place to eat with a wide variety of foods to choose from and reasonably priced

We stopped on our way through town and just excellent Chinese food. I ordered steamed veggies and chicken and my husband got orange chicken. Both were huge portions and delicious!

People were friendly food was terrible. And they only checked on us once but we did get a lot of food family style

The service is excellent. We particularly enjoy the salt and pepper shrimp and the House Hong Kong fried noodles.

We got the Peking Dinner for 3 that came with hot and sour soup, appetizers and 3 entrees. The servings were ample and delicious, especially the beef! Oh, my...it just melts in your mouth! Highly recommend!

Considering it's the only Chinese restaurant in Angels Camp it's better than nothing but that's not saying much

Pretty good Chinese food with good portions. Three of us left very satisfied and caring left overs! ... and it's the only Chinese food available for many miles.

Not alot of choices of places to go eat in angels camp. Husband and I enjoyed this place. They were clean and super friendly. The food was pretty good too.

The worst chinese food I have had I a long time,and by far the absolute worst lemon chicken I've ever had, do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else!

Love their paper wrapped chicken, I live a 1/2 hour away and still worth the drive.

Its decent food. The portions are small compared to most Chinese restaurants and it's also more pricy but if your at a small city like that were there's limited options its good. The service is good. And the employees are nice.

This place used to have good food a couple of years ago. Something changed now I tried the place couple of times and the quality of food was very low. We also didn't have a good experience with a server when we asked for a sauce. She said something while walking away as if we offended her by asking for something.

From the time we ordered to the time the food was on our table was about 6min. The lemon chicken was excellent. It was very quick and courteous service. Too bad I live in Washington and am just visiting, or I would come here regularly.

Our first time eating here. The locals were raving about it. One even said best Chinese food in three counties. Well we found out why. Food was delicious, portions were huge, service was great, and prices were right!

Tasty food, fast and attentive service. We usually take out. Sweet n sour pork, bbq pork chow mein, and chicken and broccoli. All were very good.

Very elegant and welcoming restaurant. They serve large portions and for inexpensive rates. I enjoyed the meals very much and the waiters were very friendly and chatty. Will definitely recommend this place.

You will leave here a happy human! Definitely do not pass this place up if you are in town. We got the Peking Dinner and oh my lanta, it far exceeded our expectations. My partner grew up eating hot and sour soup and he absolutely loved it. Very authentic.

From out of town. Called and made reservations for 22 people. Got menu and had everyone decide what they wanted, took list to far east the day before and placed order. They did not ask for a deposit and recommend that we show up when they first open as PG&E might shut power off that day. We arrived and they had all 22 orders on the table in less than 10 minutes. Food was great, service was great and made my 90 year old mother in law's birthday something to remember.

Very good food at reasonable prices. I could not eat everything they served on the dinner meal.

This restaurant is surely one of the tastiest place in the neighborhood. Always when I go there I am awfully happy. They maintain their very high standard service and the highest level of meals they offer. You no doubt will love this place. Warmly recommended.
